Cathrine Oslo: mini series valentine's card

CATHRINE OSLO

Born in Medan, North Sumatra in 1990. in 2008 she came to Singapore to study at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), majoring in printmaking to widen her understanding of a foreign place and to take in new languages and cultures

She incorporates her life experiences and her imagination to fuel her works. Her works is intimate and personal in nature, with her parents, brother, friends, and herself as her main subject matter.

A constant source of inspiration are her childhood memories. She uses printmaking techniques as a medium to explore more possibilities to create artworks. The kind of artworks she creates are 'settings' that are feminine but 'sombre' in nature.
